In order to continue our mission, we are looking for a motivated and dedicated person to work at the position of a

Head of Iberia and South America, Managing Director of TESY Iberia S.L.U.

Position responsibilities:

- Acts as both Head of Iberia and South America, leading the team and the business in the region, and Managing Director of TESY Iberia S.L.U., legally representing the company in line with its statutes and TESY’s operating procedures and guidelines;

- Leads the research and analysis of the markets of electric water heaters, heat pump water heaters, indirectly heated water tanks and electric heating appliances in the countries forming part of the region (the “Markets”);

- Drives the development of business strategies and plans for the Markets in line with the corporate strategy with a primary focus on expanding the distribution network and increasing the TESY brand recognition in Spain and Portugal;

- Proposes and leads the implementation of commercial policies and approaches in the Markets in line with the best practices for the respective distribution channels;

- Ensures that TESY’s products' technical, functional and performance features comply with the respective regulatory requirements and standards, offering competitive advantages and useful benefits to end users;

- Oversees the entire product development cycle from ideation and prioritisation through prototyping and testing to industrialisation and preparation for market release in accordance with the product specifications prepared by or aligned with Product Management;

- Identifies market opportunities, assess risks and makes informed decisions regarding product investments and resource allocation;

- Together with the Manufacturing Division, manages the definition, testing and successful implementation of the relevant product manufacturing technology;

- Leads the development and adherence to appropriate quality standards and key performance indicators in respect of materials and components, production processes and finished products;

- Plays a key role in the development of marketing strategies and annual marketing plans for the Markets;

- Prepares and manages TESY Iberia’s annual budget, leading the implementation of the business strategies and business plans, aiming to achieve the company’s sales and profitability targets;

- Partners with the Head of Marketing, Head of Supply Chain and Head of Aftersales Service in the implementation of the marketing strategies and annual marketing plans, as well as the provision of full operational support to customers and proper management of the relevant service providers;

- Manages the customer acquisition, sales and customer servicing operations, acting as line manager of the sales team and local leader of the Spanish marketing, customer service, and pre-sales and after-sales professionals, whose functional leaders are located in TESY’s head office;

- Ensures the regular update of the sales forecast and pipeline in line with the company’s sales and operational planning cycle and using the respective systems and tools;

- Generates ideas and proposals for development of the product portfolio in line with market opportunities and the company’s product management policies and requirements;

- Performs office management, payroll and administrative tasks as necessary and as instructed by the corporate management;

- Identifies and manages external service providers, such as accountants, tax advisors, lawyers, marketing agencies, mobile operators, car service providers, etc.;

- Act as the legal representative of TESY Iberia S.L.U. before the local authorities, financial institutions, customers and other key stakeholders;

- Prepares regular and ad hoc reports following the corporate templates.

Position Requirements::

- Education: university degree in economics, business administration, technical science or other major suitable for the position;

- Professional experience:

o 10 years of which at least five at a managerial position;

o business-to-business sales, where the experience with the sales of any of the following would be an advantage: professional equipment, heating, air conditioning, renewable energy products/ systems, domestic appliances or other installation products;

o experience in project business would be an advantage;

o experience in an international company or environment would also be preferred;

- Language skills: native Spanish and fluent English;

- Computer literacy: MS Office, experience with SAP and/ or other ERP and CRM systems would be an advantage;

- Interpersonal skills:

o Strategic thinker and motivational leader;

o Business developer with strong negotiation skills;

o Self-starter and result-oriented individual;

o Analitycal with attention to detail;;

o Strong organisational and process management skills;

o Excellent communicator and presenter;

o Outgoing, open and honest personality.

- Willingness for regular and ad-hoc visits to the head offices and production facilities in Bulgaria, as well as to the Markets.
